ADVANTAGES:
Cefgard vet Sterile powder should be reconstituted as follows:
1 gm vial- Reconstitute with 20 ml Sterile water for injection (supplied in pack). Each ml of the resulting solution contains Ceftiofur Sodium Equivalent to 50 mg Ceftiofur. Shake thoroughly prior to use.

Dosage & Usage

Cefgard vet can be use Intramuscularly in cattle and Subcutaneously in day old chicks.
Cattle, Sheep & Goat:
1.1-2.2 mg/kg body weight or 1-2 ml reconstituted sterile solution per 45 kg body weight. Treatment should be repeated at 24 hour intervals for a total of 3 consecutive days. May also be used on days 4 and 5 for animals that do not show a satisfactory response (recovery) after the initial 3 treatments.
Day-old Chicks:
0.08-0.20 mg Ceftiofur/Chick. One ml of the 50 mg/ml reconstituted solution will treat approximately 250-625 day-old chicks.
Or as directed by the registered veterinary physician.
Product Packaging 1gm vial with 20 ml sterile water for injection in two 10 ml ampoule.
